While I’m still editing my photos from yesterday’s wedding, I thought I would post some of my favorites from last Saturday’s wedding at the Catamount Country Club in Williston VT. It was the first time I shot a wedding at a golf course venue and it turned out to be so much fun! Anytime I get to ride in a golf cart I’m happy…I think I should get one for every wedding so I don’t have to carry my bags. And the weather cooperated with an overcast sky providing a nice soft light (the best in most photographer’s opinions). As long as it didn’t rain, Laura was happy!
I first met Chris and Laura last fall after they booked me when we hooked up for their engagement session. I quickly learned that the pair were happy, relaxed and could catch each other’s eyes in a way that I knew was going to make for great photos on their wedding day.
Laura’s attention to detail shined through as you can see from some of the detail shots below.
The couples rings were gorgeous. Chris’s band was unlike anything I’d ever seen!
The bride and her crew readied at the clubhouse.
I will always be a sucker for those laced-back dresses. I just think the whole process of tying them up is just beautiful.
More gems!
Mother and daughter are both in perfect alignment!
I also love it when the flower girls are happy.
…Even if the ring-bearer is bashful.
See? Those eyes are for each other only…
This tiny flower girl really wanted an up-close view of the action.
The lovely ladies.
And handsome gents.
We had some fun taking the couple around the course for some beautiful shots.
They make a great pair.
Check out the guy on the left!
Dancing shots are always fun. And this crowd was into it!
The night went off without a hitch and everyone had a blast, including me! Congratulations to Chris and Laura a best wishes for a marriage that’s as warm and happy as their honeymoon!
